We fell in love with this 1940s home's character but knew it needed serious updating. The team was absolutely incredible at respecting the home's history while making it functional for modern life. When they discovered the brick alcove behind drywall, they immediately called us to discuss preserving it—we're so grateful they did! That little arched nook has become one of our favorite details. The fireplace restoration is equally stunning. They matched the crown molding and trim work perfectly to the original details, and you'd never know where old ends and new begins. The terrazzo-style flooring they suggested looks like it's been there for decades while being completely maintenance-free. What impressed us most was their care throughout the process—protecting original features, sourcing period-appropriate materials, and genuinely understanding what makes historic homes special. They finished on time, stayed within budget, and left us with a home that feels both authentically vintage and completely livable. We get compliments from every visitor!
