Before & after

What we were asked to do
The dining room used to be the old kitchen, gas lines, plumbing lines, electrical lines had to be moved to create this space. Fabuwood white oak cabients were installed on the bar area to bring warmth to the room, while the dramatic dark stone countertop and matching arched backsplash create contrast and immediately draw your eye. The stone continues through the entire arch, turning what could have been a simple wet bar into a statement feature. Glass shelving keeps the center visually open. We added an ice maker and working sink to the area for a fully functioning wet bar.
Throughout the dining room, custom picture-frame molding gives the walls depth and character without competing with the cabinetry. The soft white walls, natural wood oak flooring, natural stone lighting, and rich brown furnishings keep the overall palette understated while allowing the darker stone to stand apart.
The result is a dining space that feels sophisticated but still comfortable built for everyday use, entertaining, and gathering around the table.
